Founded in January, 2002. The group, called “Robotics, Automation and Computer Vision Research Group of Jaen University”, is formed by 16 members where six of them are doctors. The research group was founded by the professor Juan Gómez Ortega and actually the main investigator is the professor Javier Gámez García.
Our group is focused in the following research and development lines:
- Compliant robot control,
- Sensor Fusion,
- Control engineering and,
- Computer Vision applied to quality inspection.
Currently, the group is developing several researching projects (funded by national and local grants) and applied technology projects with companies such as: Valeo, Endesa, DRD Technologies, Twototest, CM Europa, etc.
